Over the years, the materials of choice have involved, wood, metals, and often leather. Today, plastics are the material of choice – especially when it comes to office seating. Whether it’s casters, chair bases, chair arms, plastics are in use.
Office chairs are structural parts, with demanding performance requirements. Office furniture gets sat on, stood on, slept on, dropped, kicked, tipped over, left in the sun or freezing cold while covered with who knows what for who knows how long.
