Eric R. Larson is a mechanical engineer with a passion for mass production. Trained as an aerospace engineer, his relentless curiosity in how things are made led him to pursue a career in product design. His subsequent training and experiences have given him a unique background in materials technology, manufacturing processes, and cutting edge product development.

For the last twenty five years he has worked as a staff engineer, lecturer, and consultant to a diverse number of clients ranging from early stage start-up companies to Fortune 500 corporations. He has been involved in the development of countless products, ranging from medical devices to cell phones to household appliances. His work has a focus on performance, safety, and reliability – with a sensitivity to the cost constraints of mass production.

A graduate of The University of Michigan, Eric received his Professional Engineer registration from the State of Delaware in 1990, and a Professional Engineer license from the State of Illinois in 1993. He currently resides in San Diego, California.
